Zimmermann is looking for PR intern
Working alongside our Senior PR manager & PR Assistant, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to the “behind the scenes” of the fashion industry.
Zimmermann is interested in hearing from talented individuals who are genuinely interested in learning and working in a retail environment. If you enjoy working in a creative and fast paced environment, we would love to hear from you!
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Analytical and detail oriented
• Punctual, dependable and positive attitude
• Exemplary organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in the luxury and fashion industry
• Able to work well in a group
• Knowledge of Fashion GPS is a plus
Internship guidelines:
• Students must be able to make a minimum commitment of 3 days per week
• Zimmermann does not offer travel, housing, or food stipends
• The internship program's hours are 9am to 6pm
• The program is based out of our Manhattan, NY office
• Sample Trafficking
o Manage samples to and from leading media outlets and stylists
o Ensure efficient logistics organization by arranging messengers as well as domestic and international shipments in a timely matter
• PR Closet Organization and Supply Fulfillment
• Maintain Up-to-Date Media Contact Lists
• Research New On-brand Media Outlets, Influencers etc
• Support in Event Prep & Execution including NYFW, Seasonal Press Previews, and Showroom Set Up
• Monitor Credits & Mentions in Print, Digital & Social Media
