Zac Posen is looking for talented interns to assist in our Atelier and Fabric Departments. Interns will assist with the daily tasks of the development of our collection. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to gain hands on experience in the fashion industry, and a greater understanding of the development of a designer collection from start to finish.
Requirements:Must have basic knowledge of fabrics
Patternmaking skills is a plus
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Strong communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Must be organized and have ability to work neatly and clearly
Must have willingness to learn and ability to think quickly on your feet
Must be available at least two to three full days a week
Upbeat and positive attitude also a must

Internship position will support both Atelier and Fabric Departments and others if necessary. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting pattern makers and sewers, sourcing fabrics, trims and other details in garment district, receiving fabrics, filing and organizing paperwork, cutting swatches, creating boards, supporting the general needs of atelier.
