VSJ Consulting is looking for Public Relations Intern
VSJ Consulting is a New York-based communications & brand development consultancy seeking an intern to support their team. Candidates must be detail-oriented, multi-taskers, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate has interest in/knowledge of the fashion industry, strong understanding of social media, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• In-person position, 2-3 per week. Days flexible
• Foundational understanding of different types of talent, brands, and publications
• Experience with MS Office - strong writing skills + detail oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organization, prioritizing and time management
• Team player and good communicator
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign is a plus
• Company will provide stipend for lunch and transportation
• Company can provide school credit upon request
• Support with sample trafficking (ie. scheduling messengers, creating FedEx labels, sharing lookbooks, etc.)
• Support with research (ie. vendors for events, etc.)
• Support with events and press days
• Support with advocate seeding campaigns & paid partnerships
• Office logistics
• Helping to maintain tidy showroom appearance and organization; set up showroom for meetings and editor appointments
• Helping to maintain company contact database
• Helping to monitor media landscape for client coverage and opportunities
• Helping to compile client press clippings, reports, and social media coverage
