Purpose and Scope: This position will allow our Intern to learn the intricacies of Brand Management as well as gaining exposure within the different departments of the Jambu&Co. Brand. This person will obtain insight on the entire Product Development calendar while offering support to our department during the process.

• Eager to learn the footwear product development process
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good computer skills including some proficiency in Excel, Power Point, CAD, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Must be able to move boxes and carry shoes throughout the building.

• Learn how to maintain the showroom with the most complete and up to date samples.
• Help keep sample areas and showroom clean and orderly at all times
• Assist in maintaining sample organization, including un-packing and reviewing all samples, managing sample closet, tracking packages.
• Help distribute incoming development, fit, make-up, and confirmation samples to appropriate person.
• Will learn the process of auditing confirmation samples and understand the things we need to look out for when going through the commercialization process.
• Will work closely with Brand Management and Design to identify discontinued or edited SKUs- coordinate sending edited samples to sales team, customers, etc.
• Will have the opportunity to partner with Marketing to coordinate samples for photo shoots and product images
• Will gain experience working closely with the design team and see the in’s and outs of the design process during any given season.
• Assist in keeping the design library including swatch books, any resource catalogs and design elements up to date and organized.
• Study the process of reviewing customer ecommerce sites to ensure accuracy of image displays & product information. Review customer reviews to see if there are any fit or quality issues.
