Trained as a gold-smith, the collection is hand-forged by designer Vanessa Lianne in her Brooklyn studio and the palpable craftsmanship can be seen and felt in every piece.
Vanessa Lianne is dedicated to using the most sustainable and ethical practices and materials possible. Metals are 100% recycled, all natural stones are ethically sourced and diamonds are reclaimed. Vanessa Lianne Jewelry is currently seeking interns in the following 2 categories: 'Social Media & Graphic Design' and ‘Jewelry Production Management'.

Launched in 2013, Vanessa Lianne Jewelry quickly garnered attention from the fashion industry and cool girls a-like. Best known for her custom Wear Your Mantra WTF signet ring collection and her one of a kind alternative bridal. Vanessa Lianne Jewelry has been featured on the cover of Vogue magazine, as well as in Instyle, Cosmopolitan, Refinery29, Martha Stewart Weddings and many more. Vanessa Lianne has a strong celebrity following including Katy Perry, Felicity Jones, Kourtney Kardashian, Yara Shahidi, Lena Dunham, Lorde and Zendaya.
The ideal candidate is passionate about art, fashion and eager to learn about the jewelry industry and likes working in an intimate, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be available two-three days a week. This is an invaluable experience for hands-on artists with an entrepreneurial edge. Jewelry, sculpture or textiles experience a plus!
SOCIAL MEDIA & GRAPHIC DESIGN :
• graphic design, photo editing, videography
• fluent in photoshop, indesign, illustrator
• social media, blogging, updating, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Polyvore
• developing new & innovative content
• tracking and maintaining samples & gemstones
• errands between retailers, media outlets and stylists
• time spent in our office, planning and researching
• Pitching stories and ideas to media
• Writing copy for blog and website
• Participate at special events, trunk shows
Jewelry Production Manager :
• Keep track of all styles, skus and materials
• fluent in excel, word
• Must have excellent communication skills since you will be working as part of a team in a fast paced jewelry studio
• Order, schedule, and track flow of products through all outlets of production to ensure timely completion and delivery of all orders
• Must be an independent worker who is eager to take on responsibility with a personal sense of accountability
• Trips to diamond district
