Ulla Johnson is looking for Production & Technical Design Summer Internship
The Ulla Johnson label has become synonymous with custom prints, intricate details and fine tailoring, all of which have earned her a loyal and global customer base. Her regard for process has led to enviable growth, in both press and retail presence, and the clean, cultivated femininity of her designs have charmed some of fashion's sharpest critics.
As our production intern, you will be working with almost every team in the company to help our production manager and assistant with their daily tasks. These include, but are not limited to: prepping for fittings, measuring garments, sample management, and fabric work.
Must be enrolled/ have a degree in fashion design, management, production, or technical design; incoming juniors or seniors preferred
Highly organized
Must be available to work 2-4 days a week from 10am-6pm
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Excel. A plus if you have RLM experience, but not required
Assisting Production team with sample measurement, steaming, other tasks to prepare for fittings
Organizing production area and sample closet
Organizing and filing production bulk swatches for Production Manager
Creating binders & keeping them organized for the production team
Loocating samples in sample closet
Various tasks in Microsoft office & Excel
May have to run errands outside of the office
Other duties as assigned
