Tanya Taylor is a New York-based womenswear brand whose mission is to inspire all women to live in color. Through the artful use of color and original hand-painted prints, each Tanya Taylor collection is designed to bring confidence and high-energy happiness into daily life.

We are looking for an intern to join our Production team who is passionate, hardworking, detail oriented and a creative thinker. This internship is Unpaid so candidates must be able to receive school credit.
GOALS:
-Gain an understanding of how products are developed from concept to reality
-Create mini project with the guidance of Production team
-Develop an understanding of the many roles in the creation of product for future career
options
-Available 2-3 days per week
-Microsoft Excel proficiency
-Detail orientation and strong organizational skills
-Multi-tasker, proactively seeks out opportunities to support the team with a can-do,
follow-through attitude
-Access to computer with Zoom capability
-Ability to receive school credit
- Observe and learn about the garment creation process from inception to delivery
- Observe and learn communication with overseas partners through visibility on email threads
- Assist in building excel documents aiding in tracking the production process
- Track fit samples and sample ready-dates
- Assist with shipping and receiving to and from mills and factories
- Track Actual Shipping Costs to audit costing estimates
- Check HTS Codes & Duty/Tariff/Handling Fee rates for final costing
- Attend milestone meetings such as calendar, fittings, costing, and budget
