Tanya Taylor is a New York-based womenswear brand whose mission is to inspire all women to live in color. Through the artful use of color and original hand-painted prints, each Tanya Taylor collection is designed to bring confidence and high-energy happiness into daily life.

We are looking for an intern to join our Product Development team who is passionate, hardworking, detail oriented and a creative thinker. This internship is Unpaid so candidates must be able to receive school credit.
LOCATION: Remote work due to health and safety measures around COVID-19
GOALS:
-Gain an understanding of how products are developed from concept to reality
-Develop an understanding of the many roles in the creation of product for future career options
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
-Available 2-3 days per week
-Microsoft Excel proficiency
-Detail orientation and strong organizational skills
-Multi-tasker, proactively seeks out opportunities to support the team with a can-do, follow-through attitude
-Access to computer with Zoom capability
-Ability to receive school credit
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Support the Product Development team in the development process through:
● RLM raw material entry
● Observe and learn about the garment creation process from inception to delivery
● Observe and learn communication with overseas partners through visibility on email threads
● Assist in building excel documents aiding in tracking the development process
● Track development status and ready-dates
● Assist with shipping and receiving to and from mills and factories
● Attend milestone meetings such as calendar, fittings, costing, and budget
This internship is unpaid.
