Soapbox Strategists is looking for Social Media Intern
Come join our small but mighty female-founded digital media company, Soapbox Strategists. We're looking for a resourceful, curious, clever...and tireless...social media manager. This role is equal parts creative and strategic, with daily opportunities to learn from an inclusive/hands-on team.
-Must have an excellent understanding and knowledge of dominant social media platforms, including their respective strengths and demographics (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.)
-A passion for learning analytics, insights and trends and ability to cull through and provide actionable insights
-Experience/relationships with influencer talent and influencer strategies - a plus!
-Strong interpersonal skills, a positive - proactive - attitude and the ability to thrive in an autonomous agency environment
-Knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, G-Suite Apps, Photoshop, InDesign
-Knowledge of social media management systems such as Hootsuite/Sprout Social/Later
-Experience working with fashion, interior design, real-estate, food, technology and/or lifestyle brands
Social Media Content Creation + Community Management
Work with our team:
-On ideas for social-first content like Instagram Stories and takeovers in addition to online brand content
-Creating and producing videos, photos, live content, GIFs, etc.
-Managing social media content calendar based on marketing campaigns, brand initiatives and relevant cultural moments
-Wring short and engaging social copy to a set tone of voice
-Help to manage communities for select clients including:
Answering consumer/fan questions
Engaging with consumer/fan content
Track social conversation, comments and provide insights gained from fan interaction
Social Media Partnerships - Influencer Programming
Work with our team on:
-Developing influencer programs that promote and build client’s online community and goals
-Curating key influencers (Instagrammers, YouTubers, Bloggers) for ongoing product gifting, and paid partnerships
