Snow Xue Gao is looking for Fashion Design Internship
SNOW XUE GAO is a New York luxury womenswear brand, founded by Asian American fashion designer Snow Xue Gao in 2017.
Snow launched her eponymous label after she received her Master's degree in Fashion Design and Society at Parsons the New School of Design. Snow’s asymmetric draping and tailored line break away from conventional definitions of feminine and masculine.
Snow's aesthetic heavily influenced by the Art movements and Costume culture between Eastern and Western. Snow relates with the collision of cultural and epochal references. “Duality” is the core of her aesthetic. Her professional and mixed culture background always prevails when it comes to consideration of the balance of garment structure and pattern.

-Availability: Commit to 11:00 am-6:00 pm at least two days a week for four months.
-Eligibility: College student, recent grad, or fashion enthusiast seeking hands-on experience.

-Communication: Strong verbal and organizational skills.
-Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with womenswear construction, Excel, Photoshop, Canva, and Illustrator.
Embark on a transformative journey into the world of fashion design as an intern at SNOW XUE GAO. Collaborate directly with our esteemed Creative Director and immerse yourself in the multifaceted landscape of the fashion business. Your core responsibilities will encompass:
-Studio and Store Operations:
Execute essential tasks for the seamless functioning of our studio and retail spaces.
-Design Process Contribution:
Engage in critical aspects of the design process, including crafting prints, developing flats, and contributing to design boards.
-Development and Production Oversight:
Play a pivotal role in the development and production process, involving meticulous sourcing of trims and fabrics and liaising with fabric mills and factories.
-Digital Content Management:
Contribute to the creation of digital content, participate in photoshoots, and manage press inquiries.
-E-commerce Maintenance:
Uphold the integrity of our online store through meticulous product descriptions and newsletter curation.
-Customer Styling and Merchandising Support:
Provide valuable assistance in styling retail customers and contribute to the strategic merchandising and inventory management.
