SNOW XUE GAO is a luxury womenswear brand based in New York since 2017. Designer Snow Xue Gao launched her eponymous label after she received her Master's degree in Fashion Design and Society at Parsons the New School of Design. Snow’s asymmetric draping and tailored line break away from conventional definitions of feminine and masculine.
Snow was nominated for the LVMH Prize and the Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 list in 2018. She
was triumphant in winning the Swarovski & Vogue Talents New Generation Award, Vfiles
Runway Award, and Camera Buyer Italia Award.
-Must have knowledge of Womenswear Construction, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Excel Strong communication and organizational skills
-Detail-oriented, proactive, fast learner, professional demeanor
-Ability to start immediately and work at least 2-3 full days a week with a 4-month commitment
SNOW XUE GAO is looking for motivated individuals with a passion for fashion design. As a small but growing team, this person will be exposed to all sides of the fashion business and be able to work closely with the designer. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): assisting with the design process, Like Designing prints, Muslin Fitting, Creating flats, Creating design boards, etc. Assisting with development and production, sourcing trims and fabrics, working with fabric mills and factories, assisting with press requests, create digital content and photoshoots.
This internship is unpaid.
