SNOW XUE GAO is a luxury womenswear brand based in New York, Snow launched her eponymous label in 2017, following her debut collection at Parsons MFA show. Snow’s asymmetric draping and tailored line breaks away from conventional definitions of feminine and masculine. Influenced by her experience in the design department at Jason Wu and producing her collection under the tutelage of Martin Greenfield. Soon after her graduation, with a commercial develop of the same collection, she started selling globally and got invited showing on-schedule at New York Fashion Week. Snow was nominated for the LVMH Prize and the Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 list. She was triumphant in winning the Swarovski &Vogue Talents New Generation Award, Vfiles Runway and Camera Buyer Italia Award.
Requirements:Experience in a fashion-related field of study • Intermediate to advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, etc. • Sense of urgency in the professional work environment and must have a keen interest in the luxury fashion market • Proficient skill set in pattern making, sewing, and design construction.
Preferred with School Credit.
Responsibilities:Preferred with School Credit.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Assist with the design and with development and production; tech pack drawing, source trims and fabrics, and working with fabric mills and factories.
