semsem is looking for Design Intern
SemSem is a Luxury Women's Ready-To-Wear collection that has been featured in Vogue International and sells on Net-a-Porter.
We are currently recruiting Design interns. Internship positions have flexible hours and are available for credit or non-credit.
• Design interns should be current students or recent graduates from a BFA or AAS fashion program, and should demonstrate an understanding of the luxury ready-to-wear market.
• As a design intern, you will assist the design team in all areas of the design process. This includes material sourcing/ purchasing, liaising with local factories, organizing the studio, assisting with photoshoots, and assisting with both collection development & production.
• During this process, you will gain a clear understanding of how the luxury ready-to-wear industry works with the mentorship and guidance from a small team.
• Our offices are based in the Garment District on 35th street and 7th avenue.
• In addition, you will help us in the creation and scheduling of content for social media, seasonal newsletters, and our website.
This internship is paid.
