Sachin&Babi is looking for Fashion Design Intern
Sachin & Babi is a New York-based womens eveningwear label focusing on bright prints and fun embellishments. The studio intern will be on a small team, immersed in the entire design process from concept to runway show. The environment is friendly but fast-paced and exciting.
Have obtained or be working towards a fashion design degree.
Be based in the New York area.
Be passionate about womenswear and eveningwear.
Be attentive, organized, proactive and contribute to the discussion in the design room.
Commit to at least 2-3 days a week for at least 3 months.
We prefer students who'd like to intern for credit.
Hand-sketching and rendering styles in Photoshop.
Developing prints by hand and in Photoshop.
Concept research and mood board development.
Maintain linesheets, stylebooks, and fabric books.
Source fabrics and trims.
Attend fittings and help take notes.
Help prep and assist backstage for runway shows and lookbook shoots.
This internship is unpaid.
