Sachin & Babi is looking for Womenswear Design Intern
The design intern will be immersed in the design process on a small team, gaining valuable experience on everything from fabric and embroidery development to final sample.
students prefereed, working towards fashion design or related degree
3rd year or 4th year students preferred, but might consider a 2nd year candidate.
Be able to get credit
Be able to commit to 2 full days
Excellent hand-sketching skills
*hand sketching and rendering styles
*print development by re-coloring and re-working on Photoshop
*help issue fabrics, embroideries, prints, and style tech packs to mills and factories
*concept, market, and mood research
*facilitate design fittings
*fabric and trim sourcing
*light sewing, assist with alterations
*update fabric and style boards and binders
*assist at shows, presentations, and photoshoots
*help create marketing collateral such as videos or flyers.
This internship is unpaid.
