Rosetta Getty LLC is looking for Production and Raw Materials Intern
Rosetta Getty was established in 2014 and echoes our founder's personal bi-coastal lifestyle and intuition for effortless dressing whether for work, travel, or family life. Creating a wardrobe of transitional pieces, the collection fluidly evolves each season with a considered and relaxed approach.
This internship will allow the participant to liaise between departments while assisting the team with seasonal sourcing, development, and production in NYC's Garment District. This opportunity will also involve communication with our Italian knitwear and shoe factories.
We are a small team of passionate individuals with years of experience in both domestic and international luxury houses. The intimacy and openness of between departments allows for a well-rounded experience to witness and understand all functions of a fashion company.
Prior experience is encouraged but not necessary. Above all else we are seeking an individual with a desire and enthusiasm to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is hard working, energetic, and enjoys working with a small dynamic team.
Responsibilities can involve:
-assistance in the sourcing of new seasonal fabrics/trims
-working with local factories during sampling and production stages
-organizing and cataloguing internal material archive
-updating sample and production fabric/trim inventory
-assist with Quality Control
