Oscar De La Renta is looking for Fabric Internship
Oscar de la Renta is a high fashion luxury brand. The fabric intern at Oscar will have the ability to learn and review high quality fabrics along with creating the color palette for the upcoming seasons.
The candidate is required to have strong initiative and good judgement, strong interpersonal skills, dependability, and communication skills. Attention to detail and prioritization.
1.
Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities.
2.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.
3.
Internship would be specifically fabric related but we are under the design team so she/he would assist in design related activities as well.
4.
Assist in fabric development, organization of fabric swatches, color selection and creation of color palettes.
5.
Helping to facilitate fabric resource tools such as archiving seasonal fabrics and creating swatch books for marketing purposes.
6.
Working in internal inventory database so the candidate should be comfortable learning new computer programs.
7.
If skilled in Photoshop, she/he could assist with print design and collaborations.
8.
Design team will occasionally need help with various tasks such as embroideries, tracing patterns, etc.
This internship is unpaid.
