Description:Muri Lelu is a luxury skincare line dedicated to unlocking the potential of whole flower cannabis. Our high-performance formulas are crafted with organic, full-spectrum cannabis extracts that harness the plant’s full range of therapeutic compounds — cannabinoids, terpenes and fatty acids — for a restorative and renewing glow.
The Social Strategy Intern will work across Muri Lelu’s social channels (with a special focus on Instagram) to grow the community, deepen engagement and drive key brand awareness. The Social Strategy Intern will assist with the development of a monthly Content Calendar, and will support the CMO with the execution of brand initiatives including social strategy, competitive landscape analysis, partnerships and more.
Requirements:Excellent social and community management skills, with an in-depth understanding of Instagram
Innovative and tapped-in thinker with a natural interest in the luxury, beauty and cannabis spaces
Must be a skilled content creator with the ability to support messaging needs through both content calendar and off-the-cuff/live channel management
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Possesses effective time-management skills and is highly organized
Proficient in G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and relevant social analytic/listening tools
Experience with content creation/design tools a plus (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate Degree program, with the ability to receive college credit for the duration of the internship
Responsibilities:- Develop and create high-quality content deliverables (copy & creative) for Muri Lelu’s Monthly Instagram content calendar, assisting with daily posting on Grid and Stories to achieve topline messaging and merchandising objectives.
- Organically grow the digital community by monitoring, managing and engaging with the audience through commenting and liking UGC, responding to questions in a timely manner, and implementing best practices for Community Management and engagement growth.
- Provide monthly analytical reports on follower growth, engagement, etc. summarizing any high-level key learnings, areas of optimization and takeaways.
- Brainstorm and pitch creative concepts for social media initiatives, authoring ongoing social media strategy that supports both seasonal/timely campaigns as well as evergreen initiatives.
- Support the CMO with cross-functional communication and asset management in partnership with various Creative Agency teams with the CMO and various Creative Agency teams.
- Proactively monitor and provide on-going trend/competitive analysis of relevant industries and social landscapes, talent, noteworthy campaigns and new social platform features.
- Work alongside the CMO on brand strategy initiatives such as partnership programs, ambassador program growth, retail and editorial strategies.
- Demonstrate the highest level of customer service; convey a polished and professional demeanor when communicating on brand social channels.
