Luisa et la Luna has booked a 3 months campaign to be featured at British Vogue Magazine showcasing our new collection and we' re seeking a talented and enthusiastic Fashion Design Intern to join our fast paced and growing team. We are a dynamic and innovative fashion brand that prides itself on creating cutting-edge designs for the modern and style-conscious individual. Luisa et La Luna's designs strike the perfect balance between elegance and playfulness, offering silhouettes that are both sophisticated and spirited. These pieces exude a sense of innovation and pushing creative boundaries ensures that every collection is a fresh and captivating experience.
As a Fashion Design Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our design team and gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry. A Fashion Design Bachelor's or Associate degree is a must. Strong knowledge of garment construction is a plus.
1.Assisting in the Design Process: Collaborate with our design team to develop and create new clothing designs, by being involved in our design development process, such as designing flat sketches, creating mood boards, cut tickets, line sheets, etc. 2.Sample Management: Coordinate the new styles development with our factory, attend meetings with patternmakers, seamstress, fitting sessions, tracking of product samples by being a liason between our design team and our factory to make sure they adhere to our design specifications. 3.Fabric and Material Sourcing: Assist in sourcing and evaluating materials, fabrics, and trims for designs, considering sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
4.Assist in Photoshoots: Support the Design team by prepping & planning upcoming photoshoots, helping with outfit selection and styling, and ensuring the designs are showcased effectively.
