Love Sam was launched in 2011 by Dawn Mayo, based on her desire to create effortless, fashion that is feminine, sensual, and timeless. The Love Sam collection is vintage inspired with a modern, romantic, feminine point of view. There is a luxe quality of the fabric, embroidery, and embellishment detail, which is designed in an artistic way, that has garnered a loyal following of women who like wearable bodies with special design detail. The Love Sam mission is to dress all women regardless of age to inspire them to be the unique amazing beings that they all truly are.
We are a women’s contemporary brand looking for a creative design intern who is eager to learn in a fast past environment, proactive, very organized individual who is able to assist the Design team.

Job Requirements:
• Must have strong organizational, communication skills, and listens well
• Must have general knowledge of apparel industry and fabrics
• Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop
• Must be enrolled in a fashion design curriculum/internship program for school credit
• Ability to work on a tight timeline and with efficiency
• Highly motivated, passionate and ability to be an excellent team player
Responsibilities:• Must have strong organizational, communication skills, and listens well
• Must have general knowledge of apparel industry and fabrics
• Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop
• Must be enrolled in a fashion design curriculum/internship program for school credit
• Ability to work on a tight timeline and with efficiency

Main Responsibilities:
• Creating and updating factory charts and line sheets on a daily basis
• Check in proto/production samples
• Steam and hang samples before fittings and shows
• Maintain and organize fabric, trim, and print library
• Prepare packages on a daily basis
• Creating Cads for embroidery and embellishment layouts
• Create mood boards and sketch boards
• Assist in researching inspiration
