Loft Creative Group is looking for Fashion PR Intern / NYFW Intern
Loft Creative Group is a boutique PR and creative agency that works with a range of exciting young talents and celebrated brands. We are looking for fashion week PR interns to support our various men's and women's runway and presentations during February New York Fashion Week. In this position, you will support our team in preparing each client and the individualized tasks related to your role for the event. This experience will give you the opportunity to work on a great range of projects and see everything that goes into executing a successful event during one of fashion's most exciting time.
To be considered, you must meet the below:
- At least 18 years of age
- Internship experience, preferably in fashion PR, marketing, communications, or a similar field
- Located in one of the 5 New York City boroughs (our offices are located in the Garment District but clients are mostly based downtown)
- Punctual and comfortable navigating the city should you need to meet the team offsite or run a client errand
- Excellent communication skills and professional email etiquette
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - an understanding of Fashion GPS / Launchmetrics a plus
- Available at least 3 days a week, and preferably available every day between February 4th - February 15th (excluding weekends)
- Have your own laptop -- though not mandatory
- Professional demeanor and appearance for client-facing events
- Great attitude and willingness to learn!
In this role, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Supporting the senior PR team as needed
- Monitoring invite boxes and recording RSVPs
- Organizing materials needed for meetings leading up to and the shows / events themselves
- Handling and managing samples for any dressing needs
- Monitoring and clipping digital, social and traditional media coverage in order to share with the client
- Event staffing (we will review our schedule and agree upon which events you will support)
