Loft Creative Group is looking for Fall / NYFW PR Intern
Loft Creative Group is split into two divisions: public relations and creative services. This internship would work directly with the PR team and assist with day-to-day activities to prepare our team and clients for the upcoming Spring 2022 NYFW in September. You would also be asked to work our events, shadowing our lead team and gaining hands-on experience. We will provide a daily stipend for each day worked, as well as an hourly rate for working all events.
- First and foremost we are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in gaining experience with our team and has a positive attitude
- Though we don't require a specific level of PR internships or experience, we'd love to find someone with some general knowledge of fashion publications/sites, industry players and the industry (even if that comes from your own research!)
- Schedule that allows you to work with us at least 20 hours a week, as well as our events on September 8th, 10th and 11th - we're flexible on scheduling but would need to be within business hours time frame
- Proficiency on Microsoft office suite, Google docs/Dropbox, social media and email etiquette
- Must be located within NYC or easily able to commute
Include but not limited to:
- Assisting PR team with NYFW preparations and logistics
- Staffing of the actual events, shadowing our PR team leads and assisting with a range of tasks specific to each event (check-in, media attendee, VIP guest assistant, etc.)
- Communications with the PR team, both internally on day-to-day tasks and managing RSVP inboxes for shows
- Light administrative work that will focus on documents and lists to present to the clients, as well as clipping press
- Sample requests for VIP dressing needs for our shows or surrounding NYFW events
This internship is paid.
