LOEFFLER RANDALL is looking for Design Intern
Looking for a design intern to assist the footwear and handbag design teams. It is a paid internship, 9:30am-6pm, preferably 4 days a week. The days are negotiable but it would be helpful if the person could come in Monday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Friday. This position is responsible for assisting footwear and handbag design team.
We are looking for someone who is studying or has finished a fashion design / accessories design degree. Pattern making, sewing, construction skills are essential as well as solid knowledge of photoshop / illustrator.
-Preparing/formatting sketches
-Assisting with color-ups (on photoshop)
-Assisting with making mock-ups
-Preparing spec templates
-Preparing color-up templates
-Taking pictures of prototypes
-Help with packing/unpacking
-Sourcing components
-Sourcing reference samples
-Sourcing materials
-Keeping design, material, and color binders organized
-Researching current trends, innovative techniques, inspiration
This internship is paid.
