Lizzy Gee LLC is looking for Fashion Internship

Lizzy Gee is an all-inclusive, sustainable designer brand based in Brooklyn, NY that combines fun and functionality. Lizzy creates chic, transitional garments and accessories locally using recycled, upcycled, deadstock, and organic textiles. Beginning in 2010 and officially founded in 2018, her award winning designs blend romantic styles, edgy composition, and bold textiles. Each gender-free collection consist of a combination of one-of-a-kind and made to order pieces that are attempting to redefine and blur the boundaries between gender performance, aesthetic feasibility, and contemporary history. The brand's collections engage with female empowerment and deconstructs restrictive definitions of masculinity- ultimately designing for a personality, not a demographic. Many of Lizzy’s designs feature a variety of textures, contrasting colors, and small yet symbolic details. Our brand fuses functional fashion design with fine art concepts and aims to utilize fashion to help society progress at a critical level while having a lot of fun in the process!

We are hiring a part-time fashion Intern for our Winter/Spring 2024 Season! This position is an opportunity to see how an independent designer brand runs in NYC while gaining industry insights and learn various design and sustainability techniques. As the brand grows, there’s opportunity for this position to grow as well.
