lemlem is an artisan-driven collection of women's, men's, children's and home goods made in Africa, launched by supermodel Liya Kebede. Meaning to bloom and flourish in the Ethiopian language of Amharic, lemlem is committed to elevating artisanship and expanding production and jobs across Africa. The core collection is handwoven from natural cotton in Ethiopia and lemlem is steadily expanding partnerships with additional artisan groups across Africa.
lemlem seeks a Wholesale Intern to work alongside our team in our downtown NYC office. Lemlem internships offer hands-on experience, complementing your academic work. Interns will gain experience and insight into the workings of a growing fashion brand. Internships are unpaid, but available for school credit.

Interns will gain experience and insight into the workings of a growing fashion brand. Internships are unpaid, but available for school credit.
-Currently enrolled student in fashion studies, marketing, design or business
-Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and Photoshop are beneficial.
-Highly organized, detail-oriented and efficient
-Embraces challenges and takes initiative

1) Assist Sales Director with Markets:
-Manage all samples and sample organization process
-Assist with market preparation, organize showroom, book appointments.
-Assist in buying appointments (model dressing, related errands, etc.)
-Assist to create & maintain linesheets, sales reports
-General administrative support as needed
2) Develop Product Knowledge and Competitive Landscape analysis:
-Create Product Knowledge Guides and Style Guides for individual stores by season
-Visit stores and prepare reporting for Sales team
3) Contribute to Marketing and Other Projects as needed
-Assist during seasonal photo shoots
Other projects as needed
