Lauren Bagliore Inc. is a dynamic Design House and leader in the fashion industry, that actively fights human trafficking globally though the means of fashion. Lauren Bagliore Inc. has an opening for a Luxury Production + Fashion Design Assistant Internship, where you will be working directly with the Creative Director and the New York Production Team. This internship is a based in New York City, is part-time, and is available for compensation or university credit, with a minimum of a two-semester requirement. There is an opportunity for exceptional interns to become a part of the team once the internship is completed.

We require that all applicants have a fashion degree or fashion-related work experience, with a background in design, production, fashion management, graphic arts, or textile development.
The candidate must have:
• Excellent time management skills
• Impeccable Organizational skills
• Superior Business writing skills
• Ability to assist in creative writing for press
• You are an excellent problem-solver
• Proficiency in MAC software; Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred but not limited to
• Professional, personable, and has a positive “can do” attitude
• Sketching Ability for Line-Sheet Preparation
• Previous experience with Email Platforms such as MailChimp is preferred
• Production and development experience are preferred
• Textile knowledge
• Photoshoot experience
• Experience in researching and gathering trim and notions
• Assistance with quality control with production team
• Ability to work integrate quality and creativity in all projects
• Awareness of futuristic and cutting edge design is necessary to excel in this position
• Fabric quality control
• Swatch Book Preparation
• Production Administration which will include some IT, uploading data etc.
• Knowledge of Garment Construction
• Pattern Knowledge Preferred Assistance with shipping and logistics
• Put together and professional appearance mandatory

Responsible for supporting the Creative Director in the completion of design concepts for creative direction, assisting in fabrication and trim development, production of the collection, research for trim and notions, and other collateral. The Luxury Production + Design Assistant Intern to the Creative Director oversees projects through production and ensures that the product identity and standards are maintained. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic fashion house where your input and work really matters.
