Lady Grey Jewelry is looking for Jewelry Studio and Production Intern
Lady Grey is a Brooklyn-based luxury jewelry brand. All jewelry from the collection is designed, produced, and marketed in-house. We are currently looking for interns to assist in all areas of jewelry production while further developing their metalsmithing skills and learning all facets of running a jewelry line from design and development to marketing and branding. Candidates will be working directly with the designers with one-on-one training and experience.
We create a supportive environment and aim for our interns to learn as much as possible throughout the program. There are opportunities for interns to explore and learn in all areas of the business, including but not limited to: production, marketing, and operations.
Internship is 2-3 days per week from 10:30- 5pm (days and hours are flexible based on candidates' schedule.)
We ask for a minimum of a 3-month commitment in order for you to learn the full scope of the business in a complete season cycle.
Candidate must be passionate about jewelry/accessories design and working in a small business environment
-Self-motivated and eager to learn
-Acute attention to detail
-You must take personal initiative and be confident in your endeavors
-Maintain a strong work ethic and willingness to take on any task large or small
-proof of Covid-19 Vaccination is required.
-Occasional assistance in running errands between vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers in Manhattan.
-Jewelry production prep, including sorting, sawing, and preparing raw materials
-Occasionally organizing materials and inventory
-Learning light silver soldering and assembly
-Miscellaneous tasks
This internship is unpaid.
