knyt & lynk is looking for Showroom/Sales Intern
knyt & lynk is a contemporary women’s cashmere & knitwear label. Sold at Nordstrom, Anthropologie, South Moon Under and specialty boutiques. We are seeking two interns to work alongside our sales manager.
Great opportunity to gain hands on experience with sales & merchandising. Fashion student, available 2/3 days a week. Unpaid available for school credit. Daily stipend for transportation & lunch. A letter of recommendation provided upon completion of internship.
Must have a genuine interest in the business side of fashion
Strong communication & writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft office, Photoshop a plus
Social media savvy
Candidate must be reliable, organized and a self starter
Possess the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Help during showroom appointments & sales meetings
Buyer follow up work as assigned
Merchandise sample collections and showroom upkeep
Update and maintain account lists
Make brand introductions, relationship building
Research new stores, cold calling potential accounts
Assist with email and call campaigns
Monitor sample requests & loans
Handle day to day tasks and special projects
Attend Coterie (premier global tradeshow that connects women's apparel, accessories & footwear designers with the international who’s who of retailers)
