This internship is unpaid.
We are an established high end costume jewelry company seeking interns to assist with all facets of the business 2-3 days a week M-F.
Requirements:Attention to detail is a MUST! Prior experience isn't necessary if you are good with your hands and eager to learn!
Responsibilities:- Intern will be working alongside the studio manager to assist in basic jewelry production. While assisting you will have the opportunity to learn new techniques and improve on the skills you already have through critiques and lots of real world practice.
- Bench work including soldering, cleaning castings, cutting chain
- Assembling jewelry
- Run errands to and from the jewelry district.
- Pack and ship orders
Attention to detail is a MUST! Prior experience isn't necessary if you are good with your hands and eager to learn!
The environment is fun and laid back, but we are looking for somebody that can be reliable with their schedule and commit to at least 3 months for the internship.
Looking for someone to start ASAP to assist with the Holiday Rush!
We are located in Industry City in Sunset Park Brooklyn.
