Karla Otto LTD is looking for VIP Relations Internship
The New York showroom is currently looking for a VIP Intern to support the team. The department focuses on VIP relations, inclusive of dressing, sample trafficking, gifting, events, etc. The ideal candidate will have a professional, self-starting attitude, possess interpersonal communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. He or she must be a quick learner, highly organized, and exhibit a strong work ethic and enthusiasm. A working knowledge of Fashion GPS is recommended.
• All participants are unpaid for their time spent interning at Karla Otto New York. • All participants must work a minimum of three days a week, and a maximum of four. • Participants have the choice of completing Monday-Thursday work weeks, or Tuesday- Friday. • The official work days begins at 9:30 AM and ends at 6:30 PM. • All participants are required to work the full eight hour day, with one hour allotted each day for lunch.
• Manage sample inventory with Fashion GPS software. • Maintain accurate and updated records of all sample trafficking activity. • Sample merchandising and organization in the showroom. • Support VIP team on ensuring samples arrive to and are recouped from VIP fittings in a timely manner. • Monitor press outlets and clip relevant press coverage. • Connect with appropriate editorial contacts for credit requests.
