Karla Otto LTD is looking for Fashion Public Relations Intern
Karla Otto Inc. is an international public relations and brand strategy agency for luxury, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, art and design industry leaders, with offices in Milan, Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong Beijing, and Shanghai. The New York office is currently looking for an intern in the Fashion PR department to assist with sample trafficking, press clipping, and presentations/events.
• All participants are unpaid for their time spent interning at Karla Otto New York.
• All participants must work a minimum of three days a week, and a maximum of four.
• Participants have the choice of completing Monday-Thursday work weeks, or Tuesday- Friday.
• The official work days begins at 9:30 AM and ends at 6:30 PM.
• All participants are required to work the full eight hour day, with one hour allotted each day for lunch.
o Maintain sample trafficking for specific teams’ clients.
o Scour magazines for press coverage of specific teams’ clients.
o Inspect digital content (WWD, Vogue.Com, WSJ, etc.) for press coverage and media mention of specific teams’ clients.
o Assist with the writing of press releases.
o Assist with the pitching of ideas and strategies to maximize the exposure of specific team’s brands.
This internship is unpaid.
