In 2009, founder Katherine Kane set out in search of a pendant featuring her initials and could not find a piece that reflected her style. After designing and handcrafting her own pendant, friends and strangers repeatedly asked her to make them similar pieces. Katherine left her job working in the marketing department at legendary diamond jeweler Harry Winston in 2010 to earn an MBA from Duke University and realize her lifelong career dream of starting her own jewelry company.
Today, K Kane helps customers give voice to their emotional lives through beautifully crafted accessories. K Kane jewelry is handcrafted, one piece at a time, in our workshops in the US, and is available for purchase at a select group of high-end retailers,
including a long-standing relationship with Neiman Marcus. Celebrity fans of K Kane include Taylor Swift, Mila Kunis, Christina Aguilera, Hailee Steinfeld, Emma Roberts, Brooke Shields, January Jones, Lucy Hale, Selma Blair, Leona Lewis and Molly Sims.
As a Sales Intern at K Kane you will gain invaluable hands on experience in the sale and fulfillment of custom designer jewelry.

· Eligible for a for-credit internship through school.
· Dependable and responsible (you’ve always been told you are wise/mature beyond your years!)
· Super organized (you love lists and hate clutter)
· A great communicator (you’ll happily chat with anyone and take pride in writing a great email)
· Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude (you’ve probably held a leadership role or two or five)
· Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
· Available 15-20 hours a week (part days are fine).
Responsibilities:· Dependable and responsible (you’ve always been told you are wise/mature beyond your years!)

· Assist with fulfillment of custom jewelry orders:
- monitoring progress of direct and wholesale orders from
receipt through delivery
- daily pick ups and drop offs at workshops
· Assist with wrapping and shipping orders
· Assist with customer service inquiries via telephone and email
· Assist with updates and improvements of k-kane.com
