The position is in West Hollywood and will offer candidates the opportunity to see the overall design process and gain design studio knowledge and experience at a rapidly growing company.
Must be eligible for school credit
Previous internship experience at a Designer Label preferred
Familiar with the design and sampling process from first sketch to finished sample
Has a high-taste level with a good sense of design and color
Well-rounded and drawn to hands-on experiences
Knowledge of basic garment construction and finishings and knowledge of fabric are important
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Highly organized, reliable, able to retain a lot of information, and able to work on different projects simultaneously
Understands the sense of urgency, able to work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment with potentially minimal supervision
Creative thinker and problem solver, resourceful and a team player
Available 3-5 days a week, and able to work longer hours during Fashion Week

Assists in daily tasks in the Studio and Atelier
Assists in researching and sourcing fabric and trim
Opportunities to work with design on sketching, lace placement and trimming
Helps to maintain an organized studio and atelier
Assists in organizing trim, fabric, and patterns
Creates and prepares fabric and design boards for design and merchandise meetings
Preparing and logging sketches
Gathering swatches and trims for Cut Tickets
Assists as a liaison between Studio Manager and International Design, Production, PR and Sales
Helps create packages to send out to local factories by gathering threads, fabrics, and trims
Involvement in the Duplicates and Exclusives processes
