Jonathan Simkhai is looking for Production Intern
Seeking motivated and responsible interns to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The intern will report directly to the production department and assist the team with various day-to-day tasks. This internship will give the individual a unique opportunity to work closely across different departments (tech design / design / atelier / etc.) as well as the production team.
*Must be able to receive school credit for this internship
*This internship is unpaid
*Available 3-5 days a week
*Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
*Strong communication and organizational skills
*Previous experience in apparel product development and/or production is preferred
*checking in samples (SMS / PP / TOP) from overseas factories
*organizing bulk approvals
*assist the technical design team prep for fittings
*printing WIPs for weekly production meetings
*preparing and updating various excel charts for the production team
*organizing fabric and trim headers
*prepare shipping documents for weekly shipments to overseas factories
