Jill Stuart is looking for Production Intern
Jill Stuart is known for her beautiful feminine aesthetic. In the production department you will learn the whole process behind a collection--from costing the line, to having it produce and delivered to the final customer.
You don't need previous textile or fashion experience, you will learn whatever is necessary here.
Attention to detail is very important!
Use of excel is necessary and basic knowledge of the program is a must!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Creation of templates (cost sheets, trim sheets, cutting tickets, purchase orders)
-Putting together information regarding each style (fabric info, trims being used)
-Prepare for production fittings, help model get changed, take notes
-Work and aide pattern makers when needed
-Creation of linesheets of each season and projection chart of styles sold
-Learn how to estimate yields for the garments
-Work closely with design to get approvals on different matters
