Jasmine Chong, a luxury womenswear label based in New York, is looking to hire an intern for winter/spring. The intern will work closely with the Creative Director & Studio Manager in its Garment District studio to plan and execute projects for the label, assist in fittings and vendor pick-ups/drop-offs, and perform various administrative tasks. The internship is a great opportunity for exposure to the inner workings of a small and intimate emerging designer label.
Requirements:Requirements
- Available 2-4 days per week, able to start immediately
- Shows demonstrated interest and passion for the fashion industry
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Hands-on self-starter
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Punctual, dependable and a positive attitude
- Sharp eye for detail and strong sense of aesthetic
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Proficient in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest)
- Hand-sewing, design (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop), illustration skills a plus (please include portfolio if this applies)

- Support external PR team in preparation for NYFW
- Assist in fittings, photoshoots, provide support for Designer at NYFW presentation and model castings
- On-site project management & support (in studio)
- Create, maintain and organize mood boards, fabric boards/binders
- Pick-ups and drop-offs between vendors and contractors
- Fabric swatching
- Administrative tasks and errands
- Create content and post on social media outlets
- Unlimited Metrocard, daily stipend, and lunch provided
