Ja Vie is looking for Social Media Intern
We are seeking a passionate and committed social media intern who will help to handle our Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram pages. The ideal candidate must focus mostly on Instagram and Pinterest to help build likes and conversions to sales for the shoe brand. The position will maintain Ja-vie’s presence on various social media platforms and help create and publish content that is relevant to our brand & customer base. He/she will regularly analyze and report on the activity on social media networks as well as the Ja-vie website.
We want someone who has a strong passion for social media, fashion, and function and who has built a large following for themselves personally or for other brands.
● Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all customers
● Must have ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in making important decisions
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Result and detail oriented and passion for fulfilling company needs
● Familiarity with fashion, function and social media sales tools
● Update Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter accounts with current and relevant photos, video, or other content from Ja-vie activities and events
● Post updates, news and announcements in a timely manner using appropriate content
● Grow Ja-vie online social networks by increasing fan base and interactions
● Complete other social media projects as assigned
● Use Google Analytics to assess trends and activity on the Ja-vie website
● Use Facebook Insights to assess trends and activity on the Ja-vie Facebook page
● Review data on the performance of social media platforms and adjusts plans or strategies to optimize reach
● Track the growth and impact of social media on the business and create and submit progress reports
● Monitor and respond to social media activities on a regular basis and build relationships with new and existing audiences
● Increase the number of followers on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook by following and engaging with potential clients
