The Independent Project is looking for Design, Product Development, and Production Internship

This internship is unpaid.
The Independent Project is a multi-brand design and development studio based in New York City. We work with brands that need the outside support of a design and technical staff to develop their brand. The internship will be focused in design, development, and production. Internship projects to be overseen by senior team members. We work in men's and women's markets.
Requirements:Fashion school or recent graduates only.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Office a plus.

Responsibilities will depend on background, but could include:
Sketching, illustrations, technical design, spec-ing, sourcing materials, light pattern-making tasks, visiting fabric showrooms, meeting with vendors, attending fittings, preparing sample and production packages, meeting with local factories.
Start date is flexible on or after 5/15/2025.
