Description:House of Jewell is an African American zero waste luxury label committed to offsetting the fashion industry's carbon footprint through inclusive couture.
In addition to Couture 2022, House of Jewell is introducing a Sustainability Pledge in efforts to disrupt greenwashing that has taken hold of the sustainability industry. Created to encourage shoppers to question unethical practices and demand transparency, the pledge raises consumer awareness and encourages dialogue around shopping more sustainably. House of Jewell also works to reach hundreds of individuals through a community art program, created by Paula, called A.R.T.S: A Roadmap to Success. Local communities ranging from middle schools to nursing homes have been exploring artistic expression to deepen emotional intelligence and self love across the nation in states, such as Oklahoma, Georgia and New York.

Responsibilities:

- Flat Sketching
- Archiving and organization
- Fabric and trim sourcing
- Assist Creative Director
- Production
- Prepare and organize showroom
- Assist with line sheets, development and production boards
