Description:HORIZON BRIDAL is s a NY Bridal Market that focuses on showcasing the talent of the independent bridal market. HB offers in-person and virtual events to help designers showcase their collection from all around the world.
Horizon Bridal is looking for an energetic, charismatic, go-getter to join our bridal market team during our NYBM event.
EVENT INFORMATION:
Set up: Tuesday 10/5 from 9am-5pm
Market Days: Wednesday 10/6- Friday 10/8 from 9am-5pm
Break down: Friday 10/8 from 5pm-10pm
RUNWAY SHOWS: Thursday 10/7 at 4pm & Friday 10/8 at 9am
Requirements:* Must be friendly: you will be interacting with numerous people daily
* Must be a go-getter: if you see something that needs to be done, take charge and handle it
* Must have a passion for the bridal industry
* Must be detail oriented & have an eye for merchandising: This is important for setting up displays & decor
* Must live in the NYC area and is able to attend all days/times of the event
* Due to covid, it is important that this person is able to provide proof of vaccination or a negative covid test while wearing a mask during the event.
Responsibilities:This internship will have various tasks throughout the length of the bridal market event:
* Help set up/break down the event; decor, steaming dresses, setting up accessories, etc.
* Run errands for designers during the show
* Greet buyers and press
* Register buyers and press at check-in.
* Help direct buyers and press to the show
* Help buyers and press find designer booths
* Help answer any questions buyers and press might have about the show
* Help with the runway shows; dressing models, filming for social media, handing out paper print outs, etc.
* Help capture the event via social media
* Monitor the grab-n-go refreshment bar to make sure it is stocked and tidy.
