Description:Heartloom is a small contemporary women’s fashion brand that launched in 2009. The company’s design headquarters is based in New York with showrooms nationwide and Canada. Heartloom launched their website in 2011, offering the collection online building their e-commerce business. Heartloom is currently sold world-wide at high-end boutiques as well as retail stores Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Anthropologie, Free People, Revolve, Urban Outfitters and BHLDN.
Requirements:Required Qualifications and Skills for Marketing/Communications Interns:
• Solid understanding of the Internet and social media marketing best practices.
• Ability to identify a target market and “speak” to that consumer group through social media
• Passion for staying up-to-date with social media trends.
• Exceptional knowledge of social media – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, blogs, etc.
• Willingness to create video blogs, write press releases, and Facebook/Instagram posts daily.
• Ability to deal with uncertainty.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel Programs.
• Knowledge in Adobe Programs Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus not required.
Responsibilities:Leverage social networks to strengthen relationships with existing clients and increase the number of impressions on potential clients. Help maintain profiles and pages (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn,Instagram, etc).
Monitor and manage social media sites, alerts, and blogs for any mention of Heartloom or related topics. Monitor and manage social media sites, alerts, and blogs for any mention of Heartloom or related topics.
Assisting on off location photo shoots and blogging behind-the-scenes photos to all social media outlets.
