HAH | Hot-As-Hell is looking for Fashion Design Intern

This internship is unpaid.
HAH's design intern will be responsible for assisting the Designer in all product categories. Particularly Swim, Lingerie and Apparel Collections seasonally from R&D, Tech Packs, 1st Protos, Garment Fittings, SMS (Salesman Samples) & Line sheets for market. In addition, you will support the design team in creating product from the beginning stages of a collection through the annual fashion show. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to break into the Los Angeles fashion industry and learn the ins and outs of running a creative start-up.
Requirements:-Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite skills
-Illustrator and Photoshop
-Strong hand or digital sketching skills
-Tech Pack prowess ; Ability to support Designer with garment fittings and communicating clear notes
-Ability to identify trends in their early stages and understand their relevancy to HAH
-Organizational skills required to meet deadlines
-Knowledge of apparel & fabric construction, lab dips and strike offs
-Understanding of techniques, including dying, printing, wash and other treatments
-Ability to learn Apparel Magic
-Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external partners

-Garment Fittings at HAH HQ & with seamstress Downtown LA -Communicating Fit and Construction Details
-SMS (Salesman Samples) for Seasonal Markets Includes Tracking, Invoicing, Approving Fit
-Seasonal Line Development According to Vendor and Trade Show/Market Calendars
-Linesheets for Market Openings by Working in Apparel Magic
-Supporting Design Team on Local Photoshoots
-Mood Boards & Trend Research
-Annual Fashion Show and Creating Custom Pieces and Press & Tastemaker Products
