Requirements:The ideal candidate will be someone who is, above all, a highly-organized, detail-oriented, independent, disciplined, and multi-tasking professional who is capable of managing one's time across varied projects in order to meet strict deadlines. He/she must be articulate and proactive, particularly when handling the demanding aspects of Fashion Week and seasonal markets, and someone who anticipates as much as reacts. While interest in the fashion industry is highly encouraged, the ideal candidate is someone who is intelligent, energetic, enthusiastic about his/her own work, and eager to learn.
The successful candidate will be able to convey in a written cover letter (to accompany the submission of a resume) how and why he/she will excel in a demanding client service driven business.
Responsibilities:The candidate will be responsible for Fashion Week SS19 ticket requests, database organization, filing/assembling/distributing ticket deliveries, and interfacing with leading PR firms as well as key sales and press representatives at brands. At the same time, the candidate will be assisting with managing the scheduling, administration and logistics of client buying-appointment itineraries for SS19 markets in NYC and Paris, among other administrative duties. The role serves as an additional liaison between the company, the clients, and both the vendor (brands) and PR communities. As a result, the exposure and experience this person receives across the industry is significant.
This internship is paid.
