Gigi Burris Millinery is looking for Accessory Design Intern

Gigi Burris Millinery is an accessories brand with a focus on hats and headpieces. A 2014 Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist, and 2016 CFDA Award Nominee, Gigi Burris Millinery provides an exciting and intimate atmosphere at the small Lower East Side atelier. Gigi Burris Millinery has been seen on celebrities such as Madonna, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Hayley Baldwin, Priyanka Chopra, Kaia Gerber, and many more. Pieces have been featured in Vogue Us, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, V, W Magazine, I-D, and Interview. We are looking for creative and ambitious students or recent grads to intern with us part time in our millinery studio. Collaborations with NYC Ready to wear designers and celebrity stylists (Rihanna, Beyonce, Kim Kardashian) are some of the many projects students will experience. This is an immediate start, un-paid position but the company is quickly expanding and could result in a paid position with the right fit. All production is completed locally and in our atelier, so this position is a perfect opportunity to learn about all aspects of running a business; from conception, to design, to production, to sales.



Each intern will have the opportunity to design and execute their own hat from start to finish as part of the program to keep.
