Gap Inc. is looking for Paid Graphic Design Intern
Gap Inc.'s International Franchise Division is looking for a graphics designer to assist us in creating our selling tools for our Kids/Baby Spring 2019 Market.
This is primarily an editing job, taking existing content and placing it in a visually pleasing manner using InDesign. You will be working with a team of two other graphics designers and supporting one of our merchants who will direct you as to content and editing. This isn't so much a creative position as a detail-oriented editing position.
Pay rate is $18/ hour and we would bring you in as a freelancer with a payrolling agency.
Strong facility with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite.
Date range is July 30-August 8 and will most likely require at least one weekend day (August 4,5).
As this is a paid position ($18/hour), you must be eligible to work in The United States and have a social security number.
We have a need for this role at least 8 x per year and typically it lasts 4 weeks so it's a good position for someone who likes full-time seasonal work.
Candidates will be working on creating one or a combination of three of our Kids/Baby Divisional Linesheets, pulling existing sketches from shared folders and editing text fields. This is a highly detailed job so candidates need to be comfortable working for long periods in front of a computer screen doing somewhat repetitive work.
This internship is paid.
