Fleur du Mal is looking for Production Intern
Fleur du Mal is an expanding luxury lingerie, swimwear, and RTW brand based in Soho seeking interns to assist our production team. We are featured in Barney's, Bergdorf Goodman, Opening Ceremony, Net-A-Porter, etc. and offer an amazing opportunity for young students seeking hands-on experience.
Candidates must:
- Be detail-oriented
- Have a positive work ethic
- Be organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Ability to use Adobe a plus (Photoshop, Indesign)
- Dedicate 2 - 3 full work days per week
- Be eligible for school credit
- Familiarity with the Garment District is a plus
Daily responsibilities include:
- Counter-sourcing fabric/trims with agents/mills and locally
- Gathering and distributing raw goods and materials to various factories within the garment district
- Maintaining sample and production inventory of all fabrics
- Organizing and maintaining all samples as well as fabric/trim
- Corresponding between production manager, factory, and
design team
- Assisting with quality control
- Organizing fit samples, TOPs, and maintaining an inventory of samples on hand
- Helping to maintain the studio, production racks and production closet so they are able to function seamlessly
This internship is unpaid.
