Seeking a hardworking intern who has desire to learn about lingerie and ready-to-wear industry. Offering learning opportunities have hands-on experiences.
Requirements:- College students/College graduates, can provide school credits
- Strong knowledge of Adobe illustrator/photoshop
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Comfortable visiting and communicating with factories in NYC
- Detail oriented
- Availability 3-5 days/week

The role of the Design Intern is to support the development of the Ready to wear and Lingerie collections. You will work for both teams, reporting to the designers and design assistant.
You will sometimes also support other Fleur du Mal teams in assorted projects, and learn about how we work together.
The Design Intern will be responsible for:
- End to end support in daily tasks across Lingerie and Ready to wear
- Work closely with the designers and seamstress to help source trims and dye to match components to fabric.
- Work with seamstress to cut fabrics to realize samples for showroom.
- Work closely with production team to assist in organizing production samples and prepping samples for fittings.
- Taking on small projects to support coordinators and managers per season.
- Organizing and maintaining the fabric storage, labelling and filing system.
- Sending and tracking all samples sent and received.
