Flagpole Swim is looking for Fashion Design Intern

Flagpole is a startup swim and ready-to-wear company in its 13th season of production. Based in Brooklyn, Flagpole started from an idea of two high school friends from Florida with a passion for dance and the ocean. They took this love and began building Flagpole. It has turned into a highly successful women’s brand and is soon adding men’s to its portfolio. Flagpole sells to retailers such as Net-A-Porter, Moda Operandi, Barneys, Anthropologie, Saks and Everything but Water. This internship will be a fantastic opportunity for someone who aspires to run his or her own fashion line in the future, or who has a desire to work in the fashion industry. Flagpole is a small team and therefore interns gain access to every angle of how a fashion company is run from the ground up. You will have the chance to learn from designers, merchandisers, and factories. You will gain knowledge of both the creative and business aspects.
