Description:Editorialist is looking for eager summer interns that will be ready to begin an internship experience in May. As part of an exciting start-up, this internship will provide a great deal of hands on experience while working closely with tthe editorial, ecommerce and design teams. This candidate should have a strong work ethic and a great attention to detail. Interns will be exposed to different areas of the magazine and ecommerce site, but we are primarily looking for two types of candidates - fashion interns and graphic design interns.

* Available for 3 FULL days a week at minimum
* An interest in fashion is preferred
* Must have their own laptop for in office use
* *Must be able to to receive school credit*
Responsibilities:The focus of the fashion intern's work will be to assist the editors and assistants on their day-to-day tasks ranging from trend research, sample and order trafficking, drafting requests, checking inventory, assisting with social media, assisting in contact updates and scheduling, assisting with new inventory uploads, preparation for photo shoots, organizing/filing, brainstorming ideas for our What's New[s] section and to assist with our personal styling clients/concierge services.
The focus of the design intern's work will be to assist the art department with graphic design tasks for magazine layouts and email blasts, image sourcing/research, product uploads, image resize and website coding. Please note, you must have your own laptop with Adobe CC for use on-site and must be very familiar with the adobe suite. Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus in addition to a good understanding for print vs. web image requirements.
