DALYA NYC is looking for Fashion Marketing/Design Intern

DALYA is a custom made to order women apparel brand based in New York City. DALYA aims to give every woman the freedom to dress the way she wants to be addressed. For too long, custom clothing has been reserved for men. DALYA gives women the tool to create custom pieces that they actually want to wear, the way they want to wear them.
Requirements:Apparel design or fashion business student or recent graduate who is available 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive, go-getter, can do attitude. Candidate must be eager to learn what it takes to launch a fashion business and be a self-starter. Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel is a strong plus.
Internship can be done in exchange for college credit. This is an unpaid internship.

- Assist marketing team/ CEO with all brand events and functions.
- Assist VP Design in fit meetings, updating of tech packs.
- Research inspiration, color, design details for new product drops
- Keep track of customer orders and ensure all is communicated to factory
- Assist marketing team in the creation of social media content
- Assist design team in any/all photo shoots
- Keep track of samples as well as photoshoot props
- Helping CEO keep track of all factory communication, brand events, photoshoots, and website updates.
- Liaise with overseas factories ensuring they are maintaining product order schedule.
- Work with marketing team on concepting email marketing flow and design.
- General organization & maintenance of samples and other relevant information
